Here Are Some Awesome New Details on the Star Wars: Battlefront Beta

thegeekdojo.wordpress.com

The beta will be open for four days on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on October 8th-October 12th. There will be three different game modes to chose from: Walker Assault, Drop Zone, and Survival Mission. Walker Assault and Survival Mission will require a internet connection to play, but if you want to get some couch co-op fun, then you can start up Survival Mission.

A leveling system will also be included. You can level your character up to level 5, but sadly that progression doesn’t carry over to the full game in November. There will be some in game items and such you can unlock for the final game though.

The best part about this news is you do not have to register or pre-order anything. When the beta goes live next month, all you have to do in download the application, and play.

The full Star Wars: Battlefront game come out November 17, 2015

What Are ya Playin’ This Weekend?

thegeekdojo.wordpress.com

It’s finally here again gamers! It’s the weekend and hopefully you are able to get plenty of game time in.

I will be playing as much Destiny as I can. I bought The Taken King today and from the little bit I have played, I really like it. It looks like Bungie/Activision have found a way to pull me back in. I will also be checking out the Rainbow Six Siege Beta and continuing my play through of Metal Gear Solid V.

That’s enough about me, what about you? What are you playing this weekend?

Arkham Knight is Coming Back to PC “in the Coming Weeks”

thegeekdojo.wordpress.com

Hey, remember that whole Batman: Arkham Knight debacle? Yeah? Me too, it’s still in my steam library ready to be reinstalled. Well, there seems to be some light at the end of the tunnel. Warner Brother’s says that the improved PC version will be re-releasing “in the coming weeks” but there is no date on exactly when.

The quote comes from Rocksteady’s recent press release about upcoming Arkham Knight DLC. The last line of the document reads that the PC version will be released soon. So look for it to be in the Steam store and other online retailers “in the coming weeks.”

Mega Man Legends is Coming to PSN

thegeekdojo.wordpress.com

Here is some exciting news. Capcom is finally giving fans what they want and is releasing Mega Man Legends to the PlayStation network store. There are not really any details about how this is finally happening, but I and many other Blue Bomber fans are very excited to say the least.

Mega Man Legends will arrive next week on the September 29th at $9.99, a far cry from the prices you see on eBay, and will be available to play on PS3 and PS Vita. Now I and many can finally play it with out having to pay a ridiculous collectors price! I need to go charge my Vita.

It’s finally here again gamer! It’s the weekend and hopefully you are able to get plenty of game time in.

I will be checking out GTAV’s new free mode events. The events looks pretty fun judging from the trailer so I will definitely be hopping online to try them out. I may even try to finally do a heist. I don’t have enough friends to play it but I may try to do it with randoms. I will also be playing Metal Gear Solid V, and Heroes of the Storm of course.

That’s enough about me, what about you? What are you playing this weekend? Tell me in the comments below!

Persona 5 Continues to Impress, But is Also Delayed

geekdojo.wordpress.com

Atlus has released a new trailer for Persona 5 and it looks incredible. The trailer was shown off at Tokyo Game Show where Atlus also announced that the game has been pushed into 2016.

The setting takes place in a big city, which is more than likely Tokyo. In the trailer, we really get to see some of the gameplay and activities you may do throughout the game like martial art training or turning into cats…yea, I said that right. The trailer is also filled with some of the things you will do outside of your daily student life routine such as battling demons with you persona.

Atlus continues to be very quiet about P5 as far as the story goes, but it looks like you are some type of costumed, demon fighting world traveler judging from the opening cinematic and the trailer as a whole. Hopefully we will get an English version soon. Check out the trailer below.

Expect Persona 5 sometime in  2016.

It’s finally here again gamers! It’s the weekend and I hope you are able to get plenty of game time in.

I will be continuing my journey in Metal Gear Solid V I’m still pretty early in the game, for the most part. Between missions I always end up doing all of the side-ops, and upgrading everything I can, and just goofing off in Afghanistan. Something tells me that I will be playing this game for quite a while. I will also be playing Heroes of the Storm, of course. Hopefully, if I have enough playing time, I will stream as well.
