Final Fantasy Explorers will feature a total of 12 eidolons to fight and summon throughout the game. All of the beloved classic eidolons are included, such as Shiva and Ifirit, but there are also 2 new fresh faces. Those 2 are Dryad and Amaterasu. After finishing up Mighty No. 9, Inafune and his team are on to their next project, Red Ash – The Indelible Legend. With what is being called the spiritual successor to Mega-Man Legends, (no thanks to Capcom, but that’s another story for another day) Red Ash takes place in a near-future, sci-fi, anime inspired world. Inafune really emphasizes that he wants players to feel like they are exploring an anime world and to question is the world “is this earth or not.”
Red Ash is up on Kickstarter now so if you want another Mega-Man Legends game like I do, then you should back it. Check out the neat pledge video below too. Keiji and his team show off some concept art, a concept cut scene is shown off along with the main cast and even a character with a name that is yet to be revealed.

Now would you just look at how good that looks. The make your own Mario game will also come with a hardcover art book to commemorate the 30 years our favorite Italian super plumber has been around. Just like Nintendo made the box for Mario Kart 8 red, the box for Mario Maker is also red. I personally love it and it just makes me feel all nostalgic about the old Nintendo days. I will definitely be picking this game up. How about you?

A developer named Aryoksini recently uploaded a video of Mario wondering around in a world built from the Unreal Engine. The results are fantastic. It’s interesting to see a mush more realistic take on Mario. Aryoksini even showcases a more colorful environment for some, like myself, who couldn’t take the colorful Mario in such a realistic world. Check out the video below.

At the E3 PC gaming event, Phil Spencer of Xbox announced that Killer Instinct will be appearing on PC. The game will also feature cross-play so Xbox One gamers can play with PC gamers.
This is pretty good news since I’ve been interested in trying out the new K.I. since I do not own an Xbox One at the moment. I’m definitely liking that Microsoft is starting to bring the PC community and the Xbox community a bit closer together.
The is no word on when K.I. will be released on PC just yet.
Nintendo is once again passing on having a whole big, flashy press conference and sticking with having a big, flashy, old fashioned Nintendo Direct E3 special. If it’s anything like last year, I’m all for it.

Ever since that announcement was made last night at Sony’s press conference, fans of the series went clamoring to the Kickstarter website to “Save Shenmue.” Apparently the Kickstarter website even had some problems processing all of the backers for Shenmue 3. The game has already met it’s goal as of this morning and it now becomes the fastest game to raise $2 million. Matter of fact it only took just 9 hours and the project still has 31 days left on Kickstarter.
It’ll be interesting to see if any stretch goals are created to raise even more money. I think it would be neat to include Shenmue 1 and 2 along with 3 all for the PlayStation 4. That would be the ultimate gift for any Shenmue fan. Another neat idea would be a special edition Dreamcast controller that works on PS4. That’s just wishful thinking though.
There is no release date for Shenmue 3 just yet, but the Kickstarter page has everything listed to be shipped by December 2017.

Unless you’ve been living under a rock in the last 24hrs, there were rumors that a FF7 remake was going to be announced by Sony. The lie detector determined that was true and Square says we get the game in 2017. Everybody rejoice! Take a look at the trailer below.
It’s only been one day into E3 and I already give E3 2015 an A+.
The rumors of getting Fallout 4 this year turned out to be true! Bethesda confirmed it earlier this evening during their BE3 press conference. The collector’s edition will include a real Pip-Boy that works with your phone!
