thegeekdojo.wordpress.com

Square-Enix’s answer to Monster Hunter comes to North America January 26th 2016, exclusively to the 3DS. The game is a brand new Final Fantasy experience with customizable characters and jobs. You can also summon, recruit and level up monsters. There is also cooperative play both local and online.

The Final Fantasy Explorers has already been out for quite sometime in Japan so it’s nice to finally see it come to western shores. It’s looks to be a lot of fun. Check out the trailer below.

What Are ya Playin’ This Weekend.

thegeekdojo.wordpress.com

It’s finally here again gamers! It’s the weekend! Hopefully you are able to get some good playing time in.

I will be playing some Rocket League. This game is ridiculously fun and can be played for hours. I actually played until 3:30 last night with some friends. I kind of regret that right now. I will also be playing Heroes of the Storm as well as some Ultra Street Fighter, and checking out some of the new Smash Bro’s 4 updates. Some streaming will also be happening to be sure to follow my Twitch Channel to know when I go live.

That’s enough about me, what about you? What are you playing this weekend?

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Gets a New Game Plus mode Soon

thegeekdojo.wordpress.comOne of the best games of 2015 so far is getting even better. CD Projekt Red just announced on their Facebook page that The Witcher 3 will be getting a new game plus mode. This is perfect for people like myself that want to play it again at some point in the future. Just like all of the previously released DLC, it will be free. There is no word on when it will come out, because it is still in development, but it should be pretty soon.

This game just keeps getting better and better.

What Are ya Playin’ This Weekend.

thegeekdojo.wordpress.com

It’s finally here again gamers! It’s the weekend! Hopefully you are able to get some good playing time in.

I will be playing plenty of Heroes of the Storm, as usual. It is my addiction now if you didn’t know already. It pretty much makes the list every weekend. I will hopefully be squeezing in some Ultra Street Fighter, Destiny, and Super Smash Bros WiiU too. Unfortunately the Street Fighter V beta didn’t launch so well, otherwise I would be playing that all weekend. I will also be doing some live streaming as well so be sure to tune in and hangout with me.

So that’s enough about me, what about you? What game(s) are you playing this weekend.

Street Fighter V Beta Starts Today [Updated]

thegeekdojo.wordpress.com“Gonna burn some muscle!”

Update: The Street Fighter V beta has been temporarily taken down. The beta launched with issues from the start, with people saying they couldn’t log in at all.

This really should be to no ones surprise. The game is in fact a beta, so problems are bound to happen. I got to play for 10 glorious minutes before I was kicked out to the start screen for the umpteenth time. Stay tuned to find out when the SFV beta goes back online.

Original Story: The SFV beta will run for 5 days and it starts tonight! I have read that the beta will go live at 9pm EST. Be sure to check your email for your beta code, if you haven’t already, so you can pre-load the game. Keep in mind that this beta is only testing online capabilities and dlc delivery so there are no extra network capabilities like local play or playing online with friends. This is the first of 3 betas so I’m sure we will get more network capabilities as time goes on. I hope you’re just as excited as  I am. Enjoy the beta because I know I will.

I will also be streaming the beta later this evening so if you’re missing out on the beta, come hangout with me over on my Twitch channel under the Geek Dojo TV tab. It should be some fun times.

What Are ya Playin’ this Weekend?

thegeekdojo.wordpress.com

It’s finally here again gamers! It’s the weekend! Hopefully you are able to get some good playing time in.

I will hopefully be getting back into Destiny again. I need to level up my Titan to max level. I’ve been behind for quite while. I had to be carried through the Crota hard mode raid at level 30. Plenty of Heroes of the Storm will be played as well so if you want to party up in that, let me know. I’m level 40 now and starting to gear up for some Hero League.

Evo 2015 also kicked off today and it should be another great year for the F.G.C. I will definitely be tuning in to that was well all weekend.

That’s enough about me, what about you? What are you playing this weekend?
