Microsoft released the launch trailer for Halo 5 this week just to make sure you are good and hyped well ahead of the release date. The trailer really gets going when Knights of Cydonia by Muse starts playing. The battle between Spartan Locke and Master Chief is going to be epic. October 27th can’t get here soon enough. The beta will be open for four days on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on October 8th-October 12th. There will be three different game modes to chose from: Walker Assault, Drop Zone, and Survival Mission. Walker Assault and Survival Mission will require a internet connection to play, but if you want to get some couch co-op fun, then you can start up Survival Mission.
A leveling system will also be included. You can level your character up to level 5, but sadly that progression doesn’t carry over to the full game in November. There will be some in game items and such you can unlock for the final game though.
The best part about this news is you do not have to register or pre-order anything. When the beta goes live next month, all you have to do in download the application, and play.

It’s finally here again gamers! It’s the weekend and hopefully you are able to get plenty of game time in.
I will be playing as much Destiny as I can. I bought The Taken King today and from the little bit I have played, I really like it. It looks like Bungie/Activision have found a way to pull me back in. I will also be checking out the Rainbow Six Siege Beta and continuing my play through of Metal Gear Solid V.

I will be checking out GTAV’s new free mode events. The events looks pretty fun judging from the trailer so I will definitely be hopping online to try them out. I may even try to finally do a heist. I don’t have enough friends to play it but I may try to do it with randoms. I will also be playing Metal Gear Solid V, and Heroes of the Storm of course.

I will be continuing my journey in Metal Gear Solid V I’m still pretty early in the game, for the most part. Between missions I always end up doing all of the side-ops, and upgrading everything I can, and just goofing off in Afghanistan. Something tells me that I will be playing this game for quite a while. I will also be playing Heroes of the Storm, of course. Hopefully, if I have enough playing time, I will stream as well.

It won’t be much longer until the highly anticipated Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain comes out. The Hideo Kojima game (I don’t care what you say Konami) has already been met with outstanding reviews. IGN and Gamespot have given MGSV perfect scores already. Kotaku and Polygon’s early impressions are very positive as well. Check out the links below to see what is already being said about MGSV. Now if you will excuse me, I need to play catch up and and finally play MGS Ground Zeros. The anticipation is killing me.

The game was shown off today at Gamescon and it looks awesome. Crackdown 3 takes place in a new crime ridden city and its biggest feature is the fully destructible environments.
Fans of the first game will appreciate the third game after the lackluster second game, which was also not done by same team. Check out the video below.

I will be playing some Rocket League. This game is ridiculously fun and can be played for hours. I actually played until 3:30 last night with some friends. I kind of regret that right now. I will also be playing Heroes of the Storm as well as some Ultra Street Fighter, and checking out some of the new Smash Bro’s 4 updates. After much speculation that ZombiU would be ported to other platforms, Ubisoft has made it official with a reveal trailer for Zombi: Pure Horror.
The original Zombi game, ZombiU, came out on the WiiU in 2012 and was met with great praise. Now for people who didn’t by a WiiU or just passed on this game, will be able to experience Zombi on other platforms.
Zombi: Pure Horror will release digitally on August 18th 2015. Check out the trailer for a brief look at the gameplay below.
