The Division Open Beta Kicks Off February 18th

You get one last chance to experience The Division before it drops in March. It will be for free so all you will have to do is download the application on your PC, Xbox One, or PS4 and you’re good. There is a little bit of a catch as the beta will be available on the Xbox One 24 hours before its available on PS4 and PC. If you are on PS4 or PC you will be granted access on Feb. 19th. The open beta will conclude on the 21st.

There will be a new mission added as well as an exclusive reward to claim when the full game launches in March 8th. Check out The Division website for more details.

EVO 2016 Lifts Ban on DualShock 4 Controllers

Pad players rejoice! Competitors will have a bit more freedom when deciding what device they want to use. DualShock controllers were originally banned due to their bluetooth capabilities, but with that said there are some rules if you choose to go this route.

DualShock users must make sure their controller is no longer synced to the system. This will make sure that no one interferes with competition. Anyone that does not follow this rule with be disqualified from the tournament.

If you prefer DualShock controller and would like to compete on the biggest stage in fighting games, make sure you get your practice in. If you’re unsure on how to desync your controller from a PS4, check out the video below.

EVO 2016 takes place July 15-17 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Rocket League Could Possibly Hit Xbox One This Month

Psyonix recently stated that the game could definitely be out this month via a fan tweet reply on Twitter.

The game is currently in the certification process at Xbox, but Psyonix is aiming for a mid-February release date.

Rocket League on Xbox One still doesn’t have a solid release date, but we can expect it soon enough it seems.

Black Desert Online Gets a New Trailer and Release Date

The highly anticipated buy-to-play MMO will finally be released to the west on March 3rd.

The trailer shows off some of the beautiful in game world along with some enemies and battles you may witness or take part of in the full game. Check out the trailer below.

Lego Star Wars: The Force Awakens Coming This Summer

Star Wars fans will finally get a SW7 based game without having to spend a lot of money. *cough* Disney Infinity *cough cough.*

Lego has you covered as they revealed the next game in the ever growing Lego video game franchise is based on The Force Awakens. If you are a fan of the Lego games, then this should be a blast. Check out the trailer below.

Lego Star Wars: The Force Awakens drops June 28th, 2016 and will be available on every system imaginable: PC, Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS4, PS3, PS Vita, WiiU, and 3DS.

Mortal Kombat XL Edition Announced

Those that have been waiting for a “game of the year” version of Mortal Kombat X will not have to wait much longer.

The Mortal Kombat XL edition includes all skins, characters, kombos, x-rays, and fatalities from Kombat packs 1 and 2. The price of the XL edition is yet to be announced, but if you preorder now you get the Cosplay Pack that features Cassie Cage and Jacqui Briggs as Sub Zero and Scorpion.

Mortal Kombat XL is set to release March 1st in North America and March 4th in Europe for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One digitally and in stores. PC players seem to be out of luck at the moment as it is not mentioned in the trailer at all.

Odin Sphere: Leifthrasir Comes out June 7th

The announcement came out after Atlus launched the official website for the game today. The remake of the PS2 classic will appear on PS4, PS3, and PS Vita. Check out the Odin Sphere: Leifthrasir website for more information.

Odin Sphere is one of those game I missed out on playing. I do have an affinity for mythology so I won’t be missing out this time.
