Welcome to my NOT Your Game of the Year List! Unlike your usual “Game of the Year List,” everything is made up and the points don’t matter, this list does not feature your typical gaming categories. The winners may not have actually released in the year mentioned either. Kudos to my homie Charles aka Profex for coming up with this idea. Without further ado, I present to you my 2019 NOT Your Game of the Year list.

CONTROL

Control came out to solid reviews, but a lot of people did not pay it much attention… including myself. I honestly did not pick this up until December of last year, immediately following The Game Awards, and I’m glad I did. The story is interesting, the atmosphere is eerie and the art direction is captivating. This is a supernatural adventure that is worth experiencing.

My Most Anticipated Games of E3 2018

E3 2018 has officially come to a close. It smacked us right in the face with plenty of new game announcements, game previews, some solid press conferences, and some not so solid press conferences. *cough cough* Square Enix *cough cough* Now begins the hard part of waiting for these new games to actually release to the public!
