The Weekend Gaming Playlist

What’s good y’all? The weekend is here to grace us once again. Hope you had a great week and I hope you have plenty of time to game this weekend. It’s been a while so I really should update that banner since next gen is here, huh? Anyways…

What’s on your weekend gaming playlist?

First up for me is Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice. I decided to give this game another try after falling off of it in late 2019. I’m really glad I did, because I am thoroughly enjoying it. It’s definitely a skill based game that takes some getting used to, but once you break through that, it’s an incredible experience. Every boss battle has been a memorable experience. I have a suspicion this may be my favorite Miyazaki game when it’s all said and done.

I really needed to jump into another JRPG, but could not decide on what. Even though YS IX is right around the corner, I decided to jump into Xenoblade Chronicles 2 yesterday. I just started chapter 2 and I must say I am enjoying it so far. I’m interested to see where this story goes.

Last but not least is Cyber-Shadow. I started this game on stream a couple of days ago, and had a lot of fun with it. The soundtrack is excellent and the gameplay is great as well. It has a very metroidvania/Mega-Man ascetic going for it and it works very, very well.

Other than that, I may dip into SFV and Dragonball FighterZ a little bit. Tell me what games you’ll be getting into this weekend. Sound off in the comment below.
