What’s good y’all? Despite the state of the world, I hope you had a great week. We have been graced with another weekend and I hope you are able to get plenty of game time in. Speaking of games, let’s chat. What games are on your gaming playlist this weekend?

First up for me is The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel II. This series continues to impress me. It has everything I could ask for in a JRPG, and more. Excellent battle system, fantastic OST, and a lovable crew of characters. I’ve slacked on playing time recently, thanks to the next game on the playlist, but this weekend I’m diving back in head first.

Next up is the game that has been taking up most of my time, Street Fighter V: Champion Edition. Capcom Pro Tour is in full swing, as we get closer and closer to December for Capcom Cup Final. Watching CPT, along with a couple of other tournaments like Quarantine Queens and Wednesday Night Fights, I got the sudden urge to jump back in. I even competed a little bit myself through PlayStation’s Tournament feature. I made it to the 5th round and went 2-2 unfortunately, so there is plenty of room for improvement. What’s even better is I got a couple a friends back into it as well. We’ve been having friendly matches over the past couple of weeks and it’s been a blast. Shout out to the homies Eljay and Joe!

Last on my weekend playlist is Animal Crossing: New Horizons. ACNH has a pretty neat Fall update that I was a bit late getting into. I’ll be getting some time in to spookify, (that’s probably not a real word), my island and hand out candy to my favorite villagers.
