What Are ya Playin’ This Weekend?

It’s finally here again gamers! It’s the weekend and I hope you are able to get plenty of game time in.

My gaming schedule is pretty much the same as last week. I will be playing plenty of Destiny. The game definitely has me hooked once again. I’m almost to the recommended raid light level of 290 so hopefully I can hit that this weekend. I’ll also be playing some Metal Gear Solid V and maybe returning to Heroes of the Storm. I haven’t played HotS in quite some time.

That enough about me, what about you? What are you playing this weekend?

Reminder: Club Nintendo For North America Ends Tomorrow

Go use your coins!

Unknown's avatarMy Nintendo News

If you live in North America and have been pushing off using your coins, you better get on it. While it isn’t news that Nintendo’s reward program, Club Nintendo, would be closing down, few may remember that it is happening tomorrow, June 30th.

Not only is it your last time to use your saved coins, but it will be the last time Club members can access their account — if you grab some last-minute rewards today, make sure to jot down the download key on a piece of paper.

It’s the weekend again gamers! Hopefully you’re able to get plenty of game time in.

I will once again be continuing my journey in The Witcher 3. I thought I was going to finish it last weekend, but the game is definitely longer than I thought it was. I’m not complaining though.

I will also be playing some more Heroes of the Storm and Ultra Street Fighter on PS4.

Thats enough about me, tell me about you. What are you playing this weekend?

Oh Hey, Need for Speed is Coming Back

EA released a teaser trailer for the next iteration of the franchise. Despite rumors of it being NFS: Underground 3, EA decided to drop the number and completely reboot the whole NFS franchise.

Not much else is known outside of the trailer, but EA says the game “will feature deep customisation, authentic urban car culture, a nocturnal open world, and an immersive narrative that pulls you through the game.” I don’t know about you all but it sounds like this is as close to a good “Fast and Furious” game that we will ever get. We shall know more by the time E3 rolls around next month.

Need For Speed will be on PC, PS4, and Xbox One. Here is the trailer:

Hello world!

Welcome to the new home/new chapter of Geek Dojo. Geek Dojo originally started out as a Tumblr blog. I then quickly found out that Tumblr was not the place to do what I wanted to do with Geek Dojo. So after a lot of thinking, and procrastination, (I AM LAZY AND I ACCEPT IT), I have FINALLY brought Geek Dojo to wordpress.com and I couldn’t be happier. Cheers to new beginnings and once again welcome to Geek Dojo!

P.S. Please excuse the site. It’s under construction.
